What a kool scene.

I rarely ever saw other skaters at ditches here in Cali.

One time at the famous "Flower Street Ditch" and that's about it.

Here is my first ditch & second favorite (late seventies to mid eighties to last weekend)...

This was my favorite of all time... Flower Street!!! w/launch & hip.

The top one looks like it could get gnarly, the lower one looks alot like the same crete and rollouts as Pville. They just don't pour concrete like that anymore.

I wish I knew who took the Pville foto so I could give them proper credit. It looks like it was taken during one of the contests that used to be held out there. I guarantee the fellow at the top center of the foto is heading across the road to take a leak, har.

Pflugerville always had a nice scene going and you rarely had to skate alone. Besides being a great ditch with really nice dimensions the scene really made it special. I can remember working my butt off all day during the summer, going home and taking a short nap and then heading out to the ditch to skate until dark. Sometimes if we just couldn't get enuff one of my buds would pull his Toyota 4x4 (there's a fairly mellow rollin that's not seen in the foto) down into the ditch and we would skate by headlights for another hour or so. Good times to be sure.

If I ever get me some land and enuff cash I'm gonna build me a replica of that ditch.

Sounds like your Pville ditch was the Flower Street ditch to me.

We are currently uploading some video of Flower & I would like to replicate it as well.

I was originally going create this site as FlowerStreet.com

Have you seen the photo of Duane Peters on the FS photo link?

A lot of Pro's sessioned this place... It was the ultimate Ditch Skatepark. 3 different trannys and a launch. Yes [Y]
