Darrin... 39 years old
I grew up in Garden Grove, CA and skated Flower Street (both sides) all the time. My local park was Big O and I grew up there watching Duane Peters, Bob Serafin, and all those guys from like 78 to 81-82ish. The other bad influence in my life was the Cuckoo's Nest/Concert Factory.
I also skated Upland, Skatopia, Del Mar, Colton, Cherry Hill NJ, Concrete Wave (my first). Flower Street was the constant though when Big O turned into a water slide park.
Got back into it a couple years ago with my son (now 11).
Skating, punk rock and Schaefer beer, enough said.
