I run 5/16" risers with 60mm wheels on my Ditch Stick.
1/2 wedge risers on my longer 36" deck - 65mm wheels
& 1/8" risers for my park deck w/ 56mm wheels.
It all depends on what size wheel you want to run & how tight your trucks are.

I'm surprised you can get away with 1/8 risers with Bowl Bombers. I'm rocking BB's and I got a 1/4 with rubber shock pads underneath.

It's not a prob. Depends on how much concave you got and what type trucks you ride.
Indys and Krux Lowriders seem to sit the lowest.
If I had the 68mm bombers, I'd use 1/4" risers.

I typically am running an 1/8th inch soft riser and a 3/8th inch hard riser for a total of a half inch. This is with 65mm NoSkoolz. I find the soft riser tends to cut some of the vibration.

Yea for just carving and sliding it you can go with higher risers.
But if you into any ollie tricks, the lower the riser the easier it is to ollie
since the nose doesnt have to go as high off the ground before the tail hits the ground.

It's all a matter of personal preference. On my ditch boards, I usually put soft risers on them for the rougher terrain. On my long ditch board I have the front truck (Cadillac Silver Cloud - Indy geometry) wedged with a soft riser then a straight cut one underneath. On the rear truck (Invader 900 - Tracker geometry) I use the same combo but de-wedged. I had to on this board 'cause the the rear truck is right under the bend of the kicktail. Because I'm using 69mm 84a and 88a recut slalom wheels is the reason for the mega stack on that board.
My smaller ditch board is setup just like my skatepark/pool boards; a 1/8" shock pad under 1/2' hard risers with 65mm Tsunami 85a wheels.
To each their own. Run what you dig on the most. and have fun.
