Replacing loose-ball bearings
Reply Quote
I recently acquired a cheap-ass old plastic board (definitely more towards the "toy" side of the spectrum) as part of a lot of three skates I bought from a friend (who had old school skates stashed in her garage for some reason).

I have no interest in riding the board, but as a project I'd like to see if I can replace it's old loose ball bearings.  Is it possible to buy bearings like this these days, at hardware stores?  I'd just like to find a set I can grease up and pop in there.  The current hardware is shot, so I'd have to get all new balls, casings, etc.

anyone done this before?
